Google Business Group – GBG Trichy
GBG stands for Google Business Group. In the words of Google GBG is “GBGs are communities of business professionals that come together to share knowledge about Google web technologies for business success.” It is the place where we can get to share the knowledge of web technologies for business success. This GBG’s Inaugural event happened in Trichy on 10 th May 2014 at Bharathidasan University Technology Park. Bharathidasan University.
GBG Overview
First session of the Inaugural event was conducted by Mr.Lakshmi Narayanan who is from cloud regime and he is the GBG Manager. He elaborated the fundamentals of the GBG and he asked the participants to participate in the future events of GBG. He took the effort to conduct this kind of event in Trichy.
Entrepreneur Journey
The second session was conducted by Mr.Divya Prakash who is the entrepreneur of Techcmantix. He gave an inspirational speech about how he became an entrepreneur from a Bharathidasan University’s MCA student. He also answered the interesting questions from the audiences. Someone asked whether the name of his company was been an obstacle for its success. He said “never” that didn’t created a problem and he also said to begin and run a company successfully we have to be patient.
Digital Marketing – An Intro :
This session was conducted by me on the title of Digital Marketing. I was explained the concept with a presentation which was easily understandable. I try to covered all the major topics on Digital marketing and he gave tips for the Entrepreneurs to boost their ranking in the Google search and also said about branding our company is more important. I had clarified the doubts from the spectators regarding Pay per click and SEO.
After the collected the suggestion slips from the spectators they said they will take maximum effort to conduct the next meet up as soon as possible. The vote of thanks was given by Mr.Lakshmi Narayanan for the spectators. He said the next event will be conducted for half day and on Digital Marketing Basics.
